Education Development
Education has pivotal role in nation building and molding superb wings of human recourse. In the globalized economy and privatization, the education has been transformed into rural or root level of sustainable development in all sorts of human life. Adopting a business-like approach that emphasizes strategic CSER is very important to survival in this increasingly competitive arena. Realizing this, the Corporation takes part in the efforts to improve the level of education and also distribution of educational facilities.
SLK Teaching
SLK Teaching Program had been implemented since 3rd quarter and still continued until 4th quarter of 2022 targetting SDN Luwuk Lengkuas, SDN Tumbang Kajuei, SMPN 4 Rungan, and SMP Satu Atap 1 Rungan. This program provides free English and Science lessons for Class IX.
Rumah Pintar Terapung (Taman Baca Rumah Pintar Panre Dilao)
PLTU Kendari-3 in corporation with NGO Sultra Island Care built a special library called “Rumah Pintar Panre Dilao” intended for children in Bajo as they only have very small access for education.
Training for Propulsion Teachers
PLTU Kalteng-1 in coordination with Balai Pengawasan Mutu Pendidikan (BPMP) Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah provided special training for 25 teachers with the aim of enhancing their competencies to become a Propulsion Teachers (Guru Penggerak) as part of Kurikulum Merdeka.
Digital Library for SDN 1 Sindang Marga
PLTU Sumsel-5 gave a full set of digital library to SDN 1 Sindang Marga in November 2022. All content in this digital library has been adapted to the curriculum of Education Office segmented to students in elementary school.
Vocational Training for Art and Culture Studio "Kambang Pancar Rungan"
Direct Cash Aid from PLTU Kalteng-1 was given to the Art and Culture Studio "Kambang Pancar Rungan" to facilitate their training program in "Art and Culture Studio Management Capacity Development" organized by Gunung Mas Regency Tourism Office on 21-22 April 2022.
DSSP Power Sumsel Teaching
PLTU Sumsel-5 provides an extra class for SDN 1 Sindang Marga every week. Some voluntary employees from DSSP Power Sumsel take turn in teaching, specifically providing subjects of English and Computer for students Grade 1-6.
